I really liked the face on the version you had before and I'm not sure why you removed it (copyright reasons?)...but I think that this version is actually better as a whole. This face seems to "fit" more with the style of the rest of the drawing making it a little more unified, style wise. Is that stripe on the dress new too? I like it.
